Keanu Reeves was sleeping, but heard sounds coming from his library. When he went in, he found a woman who had intruded into his home, just sitting in his chair. He approached the invader to learn that she was merely there to meet him. So, he promptly called 911 and had the police come and take her away. Madness! TMZ reports:
Reeves was snoozing at 4 AM Monday when he heard sounds coming from his library … yes, Ted “Theodore” Logan has a library.
The actor got up, walked in and saw a woman in her mid-40′s sitting in his chair, not uttering a peep.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Keanu calmly approached her and began speaking to her. She explained she was there to meet him. He very calmly called 911 and obtusely told the dispatcher cops needed to roll quick.
Police came and took the woman into custody. She was taken for a psych evaluation.
Could you imagine trying to sleep — only to find someone got through security and into your library? It’s a wonder that he didn’t call 911 upon hearing the noises. Hopefully that crazed fan will get the psychiatric help that she needs.
TMZ also noted that Reeves lives in an area called “Hunk Alley”, but has the guts to ask how these people know where certain celebrities live? It’s unreal.
